Public meeting scheduled for I-39/90 and I-43/WIS 81 interchange near Beloit

Meeting to focus on preferred alternative for I-39/90 and I-43/WIS 81 interchange

A public involvement meeting will occur on Tuesday, August 5 to present the preferred interchange alternative for the I-39/90 and I-43/WIS 81 system interchange near Beloit, in Rock County, as required by the Environmental Assessment. The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Beloit Public Library located at 605 Eclipse Boulevard, Beloit, WI 52511. A brief formal presentation will be held at 5:30 p.m.

The interchange improvement is part of the I-39/90 Expansion Project from the Illinois state line to the US 12/18 interchange near Madison.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input, and ask questions regarding this project. Exhibits showing the proposed improvement alternatives for the intersections within the interchange will be on display. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
