Westbound WIS 29 detour planned tonight

July 24, 2014

Detour needed for crews to repair temporary pavement east of Abbotsford

Crews are planning to close and detour westbound WIS 29 (east of Abbotsford) tonight (July 24) at 7 p.m. until Friday, July 25 at 8 a.m. Traffic will be detoured via WIS 97, WIS 153 and WIS 13.

The closure is necessary for crews to repair temporary pavement, which is needed to shift traffic to the highway’s shoulder while crews work on the Porky Creek and Big Eau Pleine River bridges.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution as they approach the work zone and are reminded to follow the speed limits on the posted detour. The work is subject to change based on favorable weather conditions.
