Andrew Trimble, airport development engineer with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), said that the reconstruction of the 5,850 foot runway will provide the county with a solid foundation for aircraft operations for many years to come.

Funding Breakdown

  • State = $51,082
  • Waukesha County = $51,082
  • Federal Aviation Administration = $478,691

The design is expected to be completed later this summer, with construction in 2015.
