US 51 construction information meeting scheduled next week

Construction on US 51 in Minocqua and Woodruff is scheduled to resume as early as September 2
The public is invited to attend a construction information meeting for the current project on US 51 in Minocqua and Woodruff. Construction on US 51 is scheduled to resume as early as Tuesday, September 2. The contractor will discuss the schedule for remaining improvements.
The meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 21, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the Woodruff Town Hall, 1418 1st Avenue, Woodruff. Adjacent property and business owners are encouraged to attend.
When construction on US 51 resumes, motorists can expect to encounter single lane closures and flagging operations.
Construction is scheduled for completion late October 2014. This schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions and construction status.
