Governor Walker approves US 141 improvements in Marinette County

August 21, 2014

Project starting Monday, September 2

As part of his efforts to create jobs and make sure Wisconsin is open for business, Governor Scott Walker approved approximately $4.8 million to improve a 5.3 mile stretch of US 141 from Middle Inlet to Wausaukee in Marinette County. Work will begin Monday, September 2 and be completed by July 2015.

Musson Brothers, Inc. is the prime contractor.

This project includes repaving the road, constructing passing lanes for both north and southbound US 141, new signing, beam guard replacement, and pavement marking.

The highway will remain open with flagging operations. Motorists should anticipate short delays, use caution and remain alert when driving through this or any work zone.
