County A Lake Delton - history

June 9, 2008 - Lake Delton breached County A due to heavy rains and flooding.

June 17, 2008 - Sauk County board approved jurisdictional transfer of County A to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT).

July 16, 2008 - A public information meeting (PIM) was held in Wisconsin Dells to announce WisDOT plans for County A reconstruction.

July 24, 2008 - Work began to construct cofferdam in advance of County A reconstruction.

September 2008 - Work begins to reconstruct County A.

December 2008 - County A expected to open to traffic.

Spring 2009 - Lake Delton restored.
