• July 16, 2008 - PIM was held in Wisconsin Dells to announce Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) plans for County A reconstruction.

• September 5, 2008 - Governor Doyle approves County A reconstruction in Lake Delton
• July 28, 2008 - Cofferdam work started in Lake Delton
• July 17, 2008 - Proposal to reconstruct Sauk County Highway A unveiled
• July 10, 2008 - Plans for restoration of County A in Village of Lake Delton will be discussed at public information meeting July 16

Special interest/community groups

A response team consisting of WisDOT, Department of Natural Resources, Department of Military Affairs, Federal Highway Administration, Sauk County, and the Village of Lake Delton has been formed to execute the project.
