US 51 south segment schedule

The US 51 McFarland to Stoughton Needs Assessment started in early 2003 and ended in February 2004. 

Since February 2005, WisDOT has been studying alternatives for addressing the problems identified in the needs assessment for this segment. The study will continue through early 2007. 

Alternatives to addressing the short-term problems will be developed and potentially implemented as opportunities and resources are available. No major construction projects are planned at this time.
