County D to WIS 175 project - public involvement

Highway projects are developed as a cooperative effort between the public, state and federal review agencies and WisDOT. WisDOT welcomes public comments and provides many opportunities for community involvement.

News releases

News releases are sent to local media and officials to keep the public informed about WisDOT projects.

Public information meetings and hearings 

Public information meetings are held to update citizens on a project's status and to outline decisions made since the last information meeting.

  • On February 12, 2004, WisDOT held a public information meeting to discuss the County D interchange project and the US 151 section from County D to WIS 175.
