WIS 38 study - need

As planned development continues along WIS 38 and in surrounding communities, traffic volumes will continue to increase.

2002 to 2003 crash rates on this section of highway are nearly double the state average. 

Other problems on the existing highway include:

• Narrow driving lanes and shoulders.
• Hills and curves limiting visibility. 
• Numerous access points causing conflicts between local turning traffic and through traffic.
