Michigan Street Bridge study environmental document

An environmental document is a full disclosure document that pulls together the public's and resource agencies' interests and concerns. They identify, evaluate and, if necessary, propose mitigation measures for the project's social, economic and environmental effects. Environmental documents are decision documents for highway projects.

Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) complete

The Draft EA has been approved by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) and Federal Highway Administration. It was distributed to various review agencies and interested parties and was available for public review at the following locations beginning November 26, 2001:

The public comment period for the EA ended January 4, 2002.
