The amount of land to be purchased for the WIS 57 expansion will vary due to terrain conditions and needs for the highway.

County P to east Brown County line
The right of way needed to construct the highway from County P to the east county line in Brown County has been purchased. Construction on this section has begun.

Kewaunee County
All the right of way needed for WIS 57 in Kewaunee County has been purchased. Construction on this section has begun.

County H to WIS 42 in Door County
The right of way needed to construct this section has been purchased and construction has begun.

South Door County line to Truway Road
WisDOT has developed the right of way plat (the legal document from which property is purchased) for this section of WIS 57. Acquisitions are underway. 

Truway Road to County H in Door County
The right of way plat for the final section of WIS 57 has been completed. Acquisitions for this section are also complete.
