WIS 57 expansion project - schedule

Work on the WIS 57 expansion project began in summer 2004 and is scheduled for completion in 2008. Schedules differ by section.

Date	Type of work/activity
Brown County P to north Kewaunee County line
Fall 2004 - Fall 2005	WIS 57 was prepared for expansion from Brown County P to the north Kewaunee County line.
Fall 2006	This section will be paved and opened to traffic.
2009	Existing WIS 57 will be resurfaced and transferred to local municipalities.
Door County H to WIS 42
Fall 2004 - Fall 2006	WIS 57 will be graded and paved from Door County H to WIS 42.
Fall 2006	This section will be open to traffic.
South Door County line to Door County H
2007 - 2008	WIS 57 will be graded, paved and opened as four lanes from the south Door County line to County H. Work on this 10-mile section will take place.
