US 51/WIS 29 project schedule - 2005

The following impacts to traffic were required to perform various construction activities during the 2005 construction season: 

• Short-term lane closures of US 51/WIS 29 during off-peak travel times. 
• Short-term nighttime closures of Marathon County N and US 51/WIS 29 for the construction and removal of US 51/WIS 29 structures. 
• Marathon County N traffic to I-39/US 51 south detour until late spring. 
• Robin Lane, from Martin Avenue to Eagle Avenue, closed to traffic from late spring to early fall. 
• The ramp from 28th Avenue to eastbound WIS 29 permanently closed in early April.

Properties adjacent to construction operations had access at all times. Alternate routes County R and County N were completed by the end of 2005 to allow local traffic to avoid most US 51/WIS 29 construction zones.
