WIS 23 reconstruction project environmental documents

The environmental process provides the public and other agencies the opportunity to provide input and comment on proposed improvements.

Environmental documents pull together the publics' and resource agencies' interests and concerns. They also identify a recommended course of action and are decision documents for highway projects. 

An environmental report will be prepared for this project and posted to this site. The report will fully document the project's effect upon the environment and will focus on key areas such as:

• Archaeology
• Endangered resources
• Hazardous materials
• Historical structures
• Parklands
• Noise
• Stormwater management
• Wetlands
