US 8 Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) - public involvement

Environmental studies are a cooperative effort between the public, state and federal review agencies, and WisDOT. WisDOT welcomes public comments and provides many opportunities for community involvement.

Public information meetings

Public information meetings were held to inform citizens about the progress of the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). WisDOT encouraged the public to attend these meetings and share their comments, suggestions and concerns about the corridor.
