The purpose of this project is to increase the safety of WIS 29, by
eliminating the center turn lane and reducing the number of
intersections and entrances to the highway. The potential for accidents
is reduced by minimizing crossing traffic and improving stopping sight
distances. Crews will also replace the deteriorating pavement.
