US 53 Corridor Preservation Study - Public involvement
Public Involvement Meetings (PIM), hearings and other meetings
Public involvement meetings, locally held small-group meetings, newsletters and other communication tools will keep residents informed about the planís progress and findings.
WisDOT will also schedule meetings with local elected officials and community planners to learn more about the long-range planning goals of each individual community along the US 53 corridor.
A public involvement meeting will be held May 27, 5-7 p.m. at Spooner Agricultural Research Station - W6646 Hwy 70, Spooner, WI 54801. The meeting will discuss the area between the Washburn/Barron County Line and WIS 70 in Washburn County. Communities in the study area include Beaver Brook, Long Lake, Madge, and Sarona.
