I-94 (US 12-WIS 65) Corridor - Public involvement information
Information on ways the public/businesses can and are encouraged to
participate in projects.
WisDOT holds PIMs to hear comments and keep public informed of the study progress.
Abutting property owners are notified of PIMs by mail. A notice is also published in local newspapers.
Goal of PIM is to obtain feedback. WisDOT encourages property
and business owners along the corridor, interested citizens, and other stakeholders to attend the meetings, provide input, and ask questions.
Purpose of a public hearing is to record public testimony regarding
a project's Environmental
Spoken testimony will be recorded and can be delivered in a public or in a private setting at the hearing. Testimony can also be provided in writing.
Detailed project information describing the recommended improvements and their effects will be provided in an informal open house format.
Project team members will be available for one-on-one discussions.
