WIS 50 Reconstruction Project - Environmental information
The design process includes a re-evaluation of the original 2007 WIS 50 Study EA to determine if conditions have changed along the corridor.
In addition, fall 2014 - A separate Environmental Report (ER) will be completed for the proposed access road connections, which were not evaluated in the 2007 EA.
The Environmental Documents will assess the social, economic and environmental impacts of the project relating to land use, businesses, natural and biological resources, historic structures, stormwater, noise levels, air quality and other factors
To make arrangements to view the report or to obtain a printed copy or a copy on CD contact:
Jason Dahlgren, PE, WisDOT Project Manager
There will be a charge for hard copies and CDs. You will be notified of any charges prior to the material being sent.
WisDOT projects and construction sometimes change the natural environment around a project area. To minimize the effects of road construction and development WisDOT works to reduce change to the natural environment and leads several efforts to restore project areas.
