Project overview

Reconstructing and resurfacing 1.5 miles of pavement.

Corridor will also be evaluated for potential intersection improvements, median modifications, and the potential to add bicycle lanes to the roadway.

As part of the project design, bicycle accommodations through the corridor will be investigated. Additional or improved sidewalk areas will also be identified. A safety analysis will be performed to identify potential safety improvement areas.

Project costs estimated at $4.5 million.

Status/phase

Planning started 2009 with construction scheduled to start Apr. 2012 and be completed Nov. 2012.
