Connections 2030 -  Stakeholder meetings

Throughout the summer and fall, WisDOT staff is meeting with a wide range of stakeholder groups as part of the Connections 2030 public outreach strategy. These groups represent statewide modal, economic, land use, environmental and social interests. The meetings are targeted to the groups’ Executive Board or Transportation Committee.

WisDOT provides a brief presentation PDF (157 KB) of the Connections 2030 planning process. Following the presentation, the floor is opened and group members share their key transportation-related issues with WisDOT staff. Each group is also provided the opportunity to supply existing policy statements or provide written comments after the meeting.

WisDOT will use this information to finalize the vision, goals and objective of the plan. This initial outreach will help shape the policy alternatives for the plan.

Below are summaries of completed meetings. Additional summaries will be added throughout the fall. At the conclusion of this outreach phase a summary report will be compiled and placed on this page.
