City meetings

Throughout the summer and fall, WisDOT staff is meeting with the major urban areas of the state as part of the Connections 2030 public outreach strategy. Meetings typically involve city staff from planning, public works, and transit. At each meeting city staff discuss the long-term growth strategy of the city, the transportation needs to make that strategy a reality, and issues that need to be addressed.

WisDOT provides a brief presentation (313 KB) of the Connections 2030 planning process. The city then presents the future vision for the community and provides WisDOT with any relevant current plans and/or policy documents.

WisDOT will use this information to finalize the vision, goals and objective of the plan. This initial outreach will help shape the policy alternatives for the plan.

Below are summaries of completed meetings. Additional summaries will be added throughout the fall. At the conclusion of this outreach phase a summary report will be compiled and placed on this page.
