Connections 2030: Wisconsin's long-range transportation plan

Welcome to the Connections 2030 Web site! WisDOT has developed a draft of its long-range transportation plan for the state, called Connections 2030. This plan addresses all forms of transportation over a 20-year planning horizon: highways, local roads, air, water, rail, bicycle, pedestrian and transit. The overall goal of the planning process is to identify a series of policies to aid transportation decision-makers when evaluating programs and projects.

The links on the left provide the following:

  • Downloadable components of the draft plan;
  • Maps and data for system-level priority corridors;
  • An overview of public involvement activities; and
  • Contacts to get involved in the process.

WisDOT wants your input!

Public input and involvement are critical for Connections 2030 to be effective. Public feedback helps ensure that the plan reflects the state’s values and priorities.

The Web site will be updated often, so check back regularly for plan updates, public input opportunities, and other plan-related information.

What's new?

The comment period has closed for the Connections 2030 draft plan. WisDOT will hold public hearings on the revised draft plan later this year.
