US 18/151 Freeway Conversion Study - Schedule

Date Type of work/activity
June – July 2007 Refine access change concepts previously developed.
August 2007 Meet with local elected officials to present refined concepts.
November 2007 Hold public information meetings (PIM) to present refined concepts.
January 2008 - April 2009 Meet with land owners, local elected officials, agency representatives and general public. Refine alternatives details as appropriate.
January – June 2009 Estimate preliminary impacts of alternatives; select preferred alternative.
July – September 2009 Complete preliminary design of preferred alternative. Continue environmental documentation, prepare draft Environmental Assessment (EA).
September - October 2009 Meet with local elected officials and hold PIMs to present preferred alternative and receive additional comments.
October 2009 – January 2010 Complete EA document.
2010 + Create draft map of proposed right-of-way, hold Statutory 84.295 hearings, adopt and record official map. Incorporation of mapped right-of-way into long-range plans by local communities.
Nov. 10 and 12, 2009 PIM scheduled.
