WisDOT keeps the public informed of construction progress in a variety of ways, including public information meetings and newsletters.

Public information meetings (PIM)

Scheduled meetings

  • Bi-weekly business meetings will be held on Tueday mornings from 9 - 10 a.m. at the Town of Brookfield Town Hall. The first meeting will be June 3, 2008.
  • A PIM is scheduled on May 20, 2008 at the Town of Brookfield Town Hall, 645 Janacek Road from 4 - 6 p.m.

Past meetings

  • November 7, 2007  - A PIM was held on at the Elmbrook Church, 777 South Barker Road, Brookfield.
  • May 24, 2006 - A PIM was held.

Business workshops

A series of informational open house forums were held to discuss the safety improvement project on Bluemound Road (US 18). The project is scheduled for 2008 between Barker Road and Moorland Road.

  • February 13, 2007 - Bluemound Road segment between Brookfield Road and Calhoun Road at the Courtroom in the city of Brookfield Public Safety Building.
  • February 13, 2007 - Bluemound Road segment between Calhoun Road and Moorland Road at the Courtroom in the city of Brookfield Public Safety Building.
  • February 12, 2007 - Bluemound Road segment between Barker Road and Brookfield Road at the Brookfield Town Hall.
