US 41 expansion, Winnebago County - public involvement

Highway projects are cooperatively developed by the public, state and federal review agencies, and WisDOT. Preparing a project like the US 41 six-lane expansion in Winnebago County takes several years, and extensive effort is always made to keep the public involved and informed.

Public information meetings (PIM)

PIMs are held to gather data used to develop a project. The meetings are announced through advertisements in area newspapers and news releases sent to the media and local officials. Future meetings will also be listed on this page.
