WIS 241 Corridor Study - Environmental documents
WisDOT has prepared an EA document in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and the Wisconsin Environmental Policy Act. The Draft EA was signed by the Federal Highway Administration on April 10, 2012.

It documents the need for proposed improvements, the alternatives that were considered, and their impacts.
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is the lead agency for the EA, which will be prepared in accordance with FHWA guidelines.
WisDOT projects and construction sometimes change the natural environment around a project area. To minimize the effects of road construction and development WisDOT works to reduce change to the natural environment and leads several efforts to restore project areas.
