WIS 35 (Tower Avenue) Reconstruction Project - traffic impacts

A detour route for truck and through traffic will be utilized to reduce congestion and increase work zone safety during construction. The roadway will be constructed “half-at-a-time” allowing local business traffic to use one half of the roadway while the other is being constructed.

Work zone safety tips

• Expect the unexpected.
• Stay alert.
• Watch for flagging operations.
• Merge as soon as possible.
• Don't speed. Remember, fines double in work zones.
• Don't tailgate.
• Keep a safe distance.
• Observe posted signs.
• Be patient.
