State Patrol's 75th anniversary
Mark Gottlieb, P.E.,
Superintendent of State Patrol
Message from WisDOT Secretary Mark Gottlieb
Congratulations to the current and former members of the Wisconsin State Patrol - both sworn and non-sworn - on the 75th anniversary of your accomplished agency and its history of excellence.
Since 1939, the men and women of the State Patrol have served with distinction while making our stateís roadways and communities safer for everyone through effective enforcement and education.
I am reminded every day of the selfless service of all members of the State Patrol and appreciate your professional expertise and dedication. I am proud that the State Patrol has been and will continue to be a vital component of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
With a stellar tradition of 75 years of service, the State Patrol is a leader in traffic and public safety throughout our state. Congratulations, once again, on a job well done.
Message from State Patrol Superintendent Stephen Fitzgerald
Throughout the Wisconsin law enforcement community, the State Patrol has earned a strong reputation for its expertise and professionalism. This positive impression of the State Patrol is based on countless contributions to traffic and public safety by both our current and former members.
The State Patrol and its responsibilities have changed greatly over its 75-year history. However, our commitment to the highest standards of our profession has never wavered.
We all can be justifiably proud of our service and our contributions to the State Patrolís lasting legacy of saving lives and reducing injuries since 1939.
