Southeast Wisconsin's RIDESHARE program

Welcome to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's RIDESHARE program Web site. Perhaps you came to this site after seeing the Web address on the freeway, heard an ad on the radio, or followed a friend's suggestion that carpooling might save you commuting expenses. However you got here, you'll be "Feelin' Better Already" just for investigating your commuting options.

If you are an employer, be sure to check out the benefits you can receive as a commuting-options employer.

As a commuter you can begin by exploring the program information, carpool tips, and the commuter calculator pages. On the commuter calculator page you can calculate how much your commute costs you and the environment. Or, you can proceed directly with registration to ridematch yourself, or have the RIDESHARE Program Manager ridematch you.

If you choose to ridematch yourself, you will return to this page after receiving your match list and exiting that site, giving you another opportunity to explore other valuable information and links on the RIDESHARE program.

How to register for RIDESHARE

On all applications you will be asked to provide your employer's name and address, contact information, times of work, preferences like driving or riding, and your beginning commute location. Home addresses and phone numbers are kept confidential.

• Ridematch yourself
  Are you ready to find out if there are matches in the database for you? It's easy to use and you have nothing to lose by trying. You will find your matches as well as contact information so you can begin saving on your commute as soon as possible. If you are ready to find your match, visit rideshare/etc/online. This is an interactive, joint venture between two Wisconsin RIDESHARE programs that maximizes your match opportunities.
  • Already registered? Log in and update your profile, run new match lists and retrieve a forgotten password.
    
    
• E-mail your application
  If you would like the RIDESHARE Program Manager to do a match report for you, complete the online application and a match report will be mailed to you within a few days. All information is transferred through the internet via a protected and encrypted Secure Socket Link (SSL).
  
  
• Mail in your application
  Download the RIDESHARE application . Either fax the completed application to (262) 521-4425 or mail it to:

  Call 1-800-455-POOL, leave your contact information, and an application will be mailed to you.
